Maya Garden (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist with practices as a writer, painter, and filmmaker. Now, a member of Black Box’s ACADEMY, she’s ecstatic to embark on her journey as an actor! She has a BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She's worked for various nonprofits and institutions as an arts programmer and educator. Garden has exhibited paintings and short films at Chicago Art Department, Zhou B. Art Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art. She holds deep gratitude to her friends, family, ensemble and instructors for all of their support.
