Just shy of a decade in the Windy City, Igolo Obi (she/her/hers) considers herself a bonafide Chicagoan and is excited to be a member of The ACADEMY at Black Box Acting. She holds a BFA from the University of Chicago. Some of her favorite roles from her training over the years include Suki in Celebration, while at Black Box, and Esther in Intimate Apparel; the latter during her time studying at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC. As she pursues her craft, Igolo is especially grateful for the constant support of her family and friends, as well as the greater Chicago acting community and her ACADEMY ensemble.
