George Elrod (he/him/his) is a native Arkansan and so proud to be a part of The ACADEMY at Black Box Acting. George is currently an understudy for the Second City National Touring Company. Recent credits include Deck the Hallmark, Not Safe for Werk, Legendary Laughs, Let’s Make it Perfectly Queer (Second City). George improvised with the iO Harold team, Comet, for 5 years and was featured in several Chicago comedy showcases, including NBC Universal’s Bob Curry, iO’s Just for Laugh, and iO’s SNL Showcase. George holds a BA from DePaul University. He is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent. He’d like to thank Justin, Comet, Mom, and Dad for all their love and support.
In addition to calling Chicago home, George is able to work as a local hire in Los Angeles and New York.
