Diviin Javaan Huff (she/her) hails from Detroit, Michigan and is an actor and teaching artist in Chicago. She is a proud member of The ACADEMY. She attended University of Michigan and her Masters degree is in Applied Drama and Theatre for the Young from Eastern Michigan University. Diviin has been a guide in giving voice through performance and storytelling, creating safe spaces to bring scripted and original stories to life on stage and film. Favorite roles include: 4.48 Psychosis (She/Lead), Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), Romeo & Juliet (Nurse), Bully (Tanisha), My Five Husbands (Wilder Rose Still) and The Piano Lesson (Grace). Her goals are to spread awareness and empathy to groups, especially with people of color.
